Jennifer Paylor
Leadership Advisor
I'm running for the Franklin County Board of Education because our schools don't just need good intentions β they need effective leadership.
For nearly three decades, I've worked in education, leadership development, and talent strategy, including more than 23 years at a global organization with over 350,000 employees worldwide. That experience showed me what skills matter, how leadership shapes outcomes, and what happens when systems drift without clear direction.
I'm not a career politician. I'm running because I care deeply about whether students are truly prepared for what comes next β college, careers, and life. I've mentored and tutored young people, supported literacy efforts, and developed leaders across education, business, and the community.
Growth matters, but performance and readiness matter too. Staying comfortable with the status quo does not prepare students for the future β effective leadership is how we move forward.
This race isn't about politics β it's about leadership. I'm a servant leader who builds great systems, leads change, and delivers results, so Franklin County has competitive schools and winning students.
I will deliver leadership that corrects system drift, raises expectations, and puts student outcomes first.
Effective leadership prevents systems from drifting. I will set clear expectations, demand accountability, and ensure decisions are measured by student results.
Our schools should prepare students to compete anywhere. High standards and real accountability create schools that open doors instead of limiting futures.
Schools exist to educate, not indoctrinate. Instruction should prioritize core academics and critical thinkingβnot political agendas or social experimentation.
Classical learningβreading, writing, math, and reasoningβbuilds lasting success. Students should graduate prepared for college, careers, and real-world challenges.
Parents deserve honesty and trust. Schools must be transparent about curriculum decisions and ensure safe environments where students are protected and supported.
Taxpayer dollars should drive results, not bureaucracy. Spending must be disciplined, transparent, and aligned to what actually improves student outcomes.

She shared insights into the crucial need for resources like mentoring, tutoring, in-school support, and guidance to keep students engaged. Her experience highlights the diverse impact of moving on students and families, noting that while one child is thriving, another requires additional support. She also emphasized the importance of parental flexibility and active involvement with teachers and school administrators in their educational journey.
